The Kashagan Utilities Plant is part of the huge complex of Kashagan Oil&Gas plant near Atyrau city in Kazakhstan. Its duty is to supply steam, air-pressure, nitrogen, purified water and other utilities to the entire complex. The $240M Turn-Key contract was issued by AgipKCO in 2004 and was signed with Bateman-Kazkhstan. EPC contractors were GATE and SICIM. The project included three steam boilers 120 ton/hr each, which were delivered as complete skids from Italy. The plant also included a Nitrogen plant, Turbo-Compressors for pressurized air, tank farm for diesel, and a large pipe-rack. It was commissioned in 2008.
